EXCAP Beginner Guide Start here with the supplied eight-Tracker EXCAP kit. Connect the headset camera, calibrate, and reach your first full-body movement in VRChat. Start the Quick Start — follow the setup pages in order. Open Settings and recovery — find detailed controls, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Quick Start Get your first full-body result in VRChat. Follow this chapter in order: check the kit, wear and bind all eight Trackers, connect the headset camera, then calibrate in Excap and VRChat. Start with Your first full-body moment → Your first full-body moment Follow these four pages in order. Your goal is simple: take a step and turn in front of a VRChat mirror, and see your avatar's body follow you. Before starting, have your eight-Tracker kit, a Windows PC, a headset connected to SteamVR and shown as tracked there, access to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and enough clear floor space to stand and take a small step. SteamVR being open by itself is not enough: Excap needs the live headset connection for its SteamVR body-tracking path. Step 1 shows where to install Steam, SteamVR and VRChat if this PC does not have them yet. Keep the PC where you can see Excap Studio while wearing the Trackers. Check the kit and install Excap Studio. You will finish when the Dongle and eight Tracker cards appear in Device. Wear and assign all eight Trackers. You will finish when the eight online cards match where you wear them. Connect the headset camera and check its marker lights. You will finish when the camera says Wi-Fi Online and Camera View shows the front marker groups. Calibrate and enter VRChat. You will finish when your avatar follows a small step and turn without losing the body for a minute. If one check fails, use the recovery steps on that page. You can reach the first VRChat body-following moment with IMU tracking while you fix a camera Wi-Fi issue; that path has no camera correction yet. Record exactly which check stopped you so the team can improve the software and guide. This is a local review draft. The screenshots of connected devices and camera points use scripted example states. The full path still needs a trial with the shipped kit and a first-time user before it can claim a 15-minute setup or independent completion rate. 1. Kit and installation Lay the kit on a table. The current eight-Tracker set includes eight Trackers, the Excap Link 2.4G Dongle, a camera and its mount/cable, a charger and charging cable, stickers, and the new straps: two long, two medium, and four short. Your shipped Trackers use the v2 shell that fits these straps. User-provided packing list: eight Trackers, camera, Dongle and new v2-compatible straps. · Open image at original size. Get SteamVR and VRChat ready If you already play VRChat through SteamVR on this PC, go to the next section. Otherwise, install Steam, then install SteamVR and VRChat from Steam. Connect and wake your headset, start SteamVR, and wait until SteamVR shows the headset as tracked. Do not continue with SteamVR output while the headset still says Not Ready or Disconnected: SteamVR can be open without a live headset, and Excap cannot send the full-body tracking data into that SteamVR session until the headset is connected and tracked. Then leave VRChat closed while you install Excap. Install Excap Studio Open the official Excap Studio downloads page. Choose the Windows Installer. Run the installer. On Installation options, leave 2.4G Dongle driver and Excap SteamVR driver selected, then click Install. The installer may request administrator access and close Steam/SteamVR to install its driver. Open Excap Studio after installation. You do not need to download and run a second driver installer for first setup. The downloads website may show an older separate driver link; use the 2.4G Dongle driver included in Excap Studio for this route. If Excap SteamVR driver says “SteamVR not detected” and its box cannot be selected: finish installing SteamVR first. Then open Setting → About → SteamVR Driver in Excap Studio and use its Install action. This is a recovery step for installation order, not a separate download. Illustrative installer edit: 2.4G Dongle driver and Excap SteamVR driver selected. Replace with a capture from the shipping installer before production. · Open image at original size. Connect the receiver and Trackers Plug the supplied Excap Link 2.4G Dongle into the PC. Open Device in Excap Studio. Check the 2.4G Dongle status icon. Turn on each Tracker with a short press of its button. Wait for eight Tracker cards to appear. Pick up one Tracker and use Blink in its detail panel to match the card to the physical Tracker. Add its body-part sticker after you confirm its assignment in step 3. Example Device page showing eight scripted Tracker cards and the selected Tracker details; not proof of live hardware. · Open image at original size. Ready when: the Dongle is online and all eight physical Trackers have matching cards in Device. The screenshot is an example with scripted Tracker data; check your own screen. The yellow Disconnected text at the top of Excap Studio is the data forwarding mode. It can still say Disconnected at this step even when the Dongle and eight Tracker cards are online. You will select SteamVR there in step 4. If the Dongle is missing: reconnect it and open Setting → About → 2.4G Dongle Driver to check the installed driver. If fewer than eight Tracker cards appear: charge and turn on the missing Tracker, then check the Dongle. Use Wire Pair Trackers only if a Tracker is unpaired or on a different channel. 2. Wear and bind Every Tracker must stay snug while you move. Wear each one with its power button facing up. For the headset camera route, put the marker Trackers on the front of your body so the camera can see the waist/hip and both lower legs. Put one Tracker at the chest, one at Waist or Hip, one on each thigh, one on each lower leg, and one on each foot. Fasten each new v2 strap so its Tracker does not slide when you take a step. Keep every Tracker's power button facing up. The photo below shows the correct direction on a worn v2 Tracker. Open Device. Right-click an empty part of the page and choose Auto Joint Binding. Set Wearing Layout to Standard Full Body · 8 · Recommended. Set Torso Position to Waist or Hip to match where you wore it. Compare each New Binding row with the Tracker on your body. Click Apply Joint Bindings only when all eight match. Add the matching stickers after checking each Tracker with Blink. Check that all eight cards still show Online after fastening the straps. Camera marker lights are checked on the next page, after the camera is connected. Annotated real v2 shell and new strap worn on the body; the power button is facing up. · Open image at original size. Ready when: eight Online cards in Device match where you wear the Trackers, every button faces up, and no Tracker slides during a small step. The screenshot below is a real worn Tracker example; the other screenshots use scripted example devices. If a label is wrong: open the binding guide and correct it before continuing. If a Tracker slides or its button points sideways/down, fix the strap first. In Setting → Placement, keep the direction equal to the way the Tracker is actually worn. Changing placement later means repeating both pose calibrations. 3. Camera and marker lights The Trackers must already be worn and assigned before this page. The supplied camera connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only in Headset Mode. Give the camera its network details Connect the camera to the PC with its USB data cable. Open Setting → General → Camera. Wait for Cable Connected. Choose Headset Mode from Mode. Choose your router's 2.4 GHz network and enter its password. Check the band yourself: Excap can currently show and accept 5 / 6 GHz networks even though this camera cannot use them. Click Configure WiFi. Wait for Camera WiFi settings sent. This confirms the USB write, not the later wireless connection. Mount and power the camera Disconnect the temporary PC setup cable. Attach the camera to the headset with the supplied mount. Connect one end of its cable to the camera. Plug the other end into the USB adapter attached to the headset, as shown in the photo. Make sure the headset and adapter are powered, then wait for Wi-Fi Online in Excap Studio. Open RP1 → Camera View and aim the camera toward the front of your body. The second photo shows the cable running to the USB adapter attached to the headset. Follow the same cable from the camera to the adapter; do not use the temporary PC setup cable for this step. Ready when: Excap Studio says Wi-Fi Online. You do not need to see body-marker points yet. Check the normal HMD Mode light change Open RP1 → Camera View and aim the camera at the front of your body. When HMD Mode connects successfully, the Tracker used for Waist or Hip and both lower-leg Trackers show a bright green light. The other Tracker lights turn off. This is expected: it does not mean the Chest, thigh or foot Trackers disconnected. Their cards should remain Online in Device. The eight-point layout has one torso position, either Waist or Hip. It does not use Waist and Hip at the same time. The example below uses Waist; if your binding says Hip, read that green torso light as Hip. Annotated HMD Mode example: one Waist or Hip torso Tracker and both lower-leg Trackers are green; Chest, thighs and feet are off. · Open image at original size. If the camera disconnects, the other Tracker lights return. That is also expected. First check Wi-Fi Online, then check that the green Waist/Hip and two lower-leg lights appear again. If a Tracker card is actually offline in Device, fix that hardware connection separately. If Wi-Fi Online does not appear: check camera power, the password and the 2.4 GHz band. Make sure the PC and camera can reach each other on the local network. If this remains unresolved, continue to the body-following check using Tracker IMU data, and return to the full camera setup afterward. This fallback confirms body tracking without camera correction. 4. Calibrate and VRChat Connect and put on your headset, then start SteamVR. Wait until SteamVR shows the headset as tracked; just opening SteamVR does not connect the headset. Keep the eight Trackers powered on and assigned to the right body parts. If the headset is not live in SteamVR, Excap cannot send this full-body tracking data into SteamVR or VRChat. Get Excap ready At the top of Excap Studio, choose SteamVR as the data forwarding mode. This selects the destination; it does not connect the headset for you. Open RP1. Check that the headset is tracked. In the Mocap dropdown on RP1, choose Standard Mocap for the supplied eight-Tracker layout. Check Player Height. Type your real height in centimeters, or use Auto Measure after the headset is tracking in SteamVR. If you have your own humanoid VRM, GLB, FBX, or ZIP model file, drag it onto the RP1 preview. Excap scans its skeleton and shows the model preview. You can continue with the built-in preview if you do not have a model file yet. Press both controller Interact buttons, usually both triggers, at the same time to finish VRChat calibration. Look at the mirror. Take a small step, turn slowly, and bend your knees. Check that your avatar's waist and legs follow you for one minute without a sustained loss of tracking. VRChat's official Full-Body Tracking guide describes its current Quick Menu calibration. The exact menu appearance can change with VRChat updates; check the current client before publication. If there is no Calibrate FBT option: first check SteamVR shows the headset as tracked, then check Excap is sending to SteamVR and your Trackers are online and calibrated. If the headset is disconnected, connect or wake it and wait for SteamVR tracking before trying again. If the option appears but the avatar does not follow, check the eight body-part assignments in Device, then repeat VRChat calibration. Calibrate FBT finishes, but legs do not follow Body-part assignments and Excap pose calibration Correct the mapping in Device, redo both Excap poses, then calibrate again in VRChat. When asking for help, report which row stopped you, what the screen said, and which recovery you tried. This is more useful than saying “tracking does not work.” Do not share your Wi-Fi password in a screenshot or report. If you have agreed to Diagnostic recording, use the Report a problem page to send the RP1 Bug report with the failure details. Settings and recovery Use this chapter when you need to configure, maintain, or recover EXCAP. These pages explain Tracker controls, binding, pairing, firmware, magnetometer calibration, haptics, placement, camera modes, and problem reports. Start with Tracker controls and status → Tracker controls and status Open Device to see Trackers connected through the USB dongle. Read ID, Define, Status, Magnetometer, RGB, Magnetometer strength when available, and Firmware. Battery and signal are also shown with the card. If its body-part label says Null, Excap has not assigned a body part yet. That does not mean the Tracker is broken. Use Auto Joint Binding from the Device right-click menu and choose the eight-Tracker layout. The ID is a hardware ID. The current page has no custom nickname field. Change ID only appears when Excap detects duplicate IDs; it requires a wired USB maintenance flow. You do not need it for normal setup. Choose a color for one Tracker Click a Tracker card. Add New keeps existing Trackers and their IDs. Choose this when adding or replacing Trackers. It uses the Dongle's current channel and assigns an unused ID from 1 to 14. Channel Only keeps every Tracker ID and changes the channel. Use it only when you intend to move the Dongle and the Trackers you connect through this flow to another channel. Trackers left on another channel will not connect. Re-pair All clears all Tracker records from Excap and assigns IDs again starting at 1. Use this only when you mean to rebuild the whole set. You must pair every Tracker again, bind them again, and redo pose calibration afterward. For a normal new or replacement Tracker, choose Add New. Re-pair All is selected when the dialog first opens, so check the choice before continuing. Pick a channel when asked Re-pair All and Channel Only open the channel step. The app also accepts VRChat HapticHub OSC messages. It does not set up an avatar or OSC on your behalf; see the separate VRChat setup guide for that. Configure a VRChat avatar for vibration This is an advanced manual setup for an avatar creator or Unity editor. Watch the user-provided video first: EXCap tracker haptics with the Haptic plugin. The video follows the HapticHub + Modular Avatar style of setup. The menus may look different in a newer Unity or SDK version. EXCap tracker haptics with the Haptic plugin  Booth HapticHub The short version is: Open the avatar project in Unity with the VRChat SDK and the HapticHub/Modular Avatar packages installed. If you do not build avatars, send this section and the video to your avatar creator. Add the HapticHub avatar package or the HapticHub MA quick setup to the avatar. Keep one vibration point for each Tracker position you want to use. For a vibration point, create or select an empty object at the matching avatar bone. Start with Left Foot as the example. The current parameter name is HapticHub/v1/LeftFoot; older tutorials may say LeftAnkle. Add a Contact Receiver to that point. Add the collider tags that should trigger it, usually Hand and Foot. Choose whether Allow Self and Allow Others should be on. Set the receiver's trigger type to Proximity and enter the matching parameter, for example HapticHub/v1/LeftFoot. Add the same parameter to the avatar's FX layer. The HapticHub parameters do not need to be added to the synced parameter list. Repeat for the other points you want to feel. Keep the names and left/right positions matched: LeftFoot goes to the left foot, RightFoot to the right foot, and so on. Upload the avatar, wear the published version, enable OSC in VRChat, and start the HapticHub/Excap OSC path. In the haptic app, assign each physical Tracker to the same body position used by the avatar. Test one point at a time. First test a self-trigger, then test an interaction from another avatar if Allow Others is enabled. If nothing vibrates: check that Haptic is enabled in Excap, the Trackers are online, VRChat OSC is enabled from the Action Menu, the avatar is the published version, the HapticHub/OSC application is running, and the parameter name matches exactly. A Build & Test avatar may not create the same OSC configuration as a published avatar, so publish before diagnosing the final path. This manual Unity route is temporary documentation for the current product. We plan to add automatic avatar scanning and HapticHub configuration in Excap, so users will not need to add every parameter and receiver by hand. It does not assign the Tracker to a body part. Use Define or Auto Joint Binding for body-part assignments. Annotated real v2 shell and new strap worn on the body; the power button is facing up. · Open image at original size. Before you change placement Wear every Tracker with its power button facing up. The direction choices refer to your body in Natural Standing, not the side of the screen. For the external camera in Headset Mode, wear Trackers on the front of your body so the camera can see Waist or Hip and both lower-leg marker lights. Side or back placement does not work with this camera route. Change a Tracker's facing direction Open Setting → Placement. Find the row with its assigned body part, such as Waist, L Thigh or R Lower Leg. Select the direction that matches the way that Tracker is mounted on your body. Repeat only for Trackers whose physical placement changed. The current interface allows Front / Back for Head and Chest. Waist, Hip, thighs and lower legs also allow Left / Right. Arm Tracker directions are fixed on the outside in this interface. Lower-scroll Placement view with complete fixed arm rows; original product layout and synthetic settings state. · Open image at original size. Recalibrate after changing positions Changing a placement clears the previous pose calibration. Take Natural Standing first, then Skiing Pose, before tracking again. Back mounting changes the calibration basis for Chest, Hip and Waist by 180 degrees. If you select Back for one of those body parts, Excap asks you to confirm because it clears the previous calibration. Confirm only if that Tracker is physically worn on your back. Do not change direction just to fix drift. Check that the Tracker is secure, its power button is up and the assigned body part matches where you wear it. Issue found while exploring Some arm-placement direction circles are fixed. The display can make them look like controls that failed to respond. A visible explanation beside those rows would make the difference clear. Camera modes and shared setup The camera Mode tells Excap how it receives and uses the external camera. You can choose a mode in Setting → General → Camera → Mode. The same mode menu is also available above Camera View in RP1. These camera choices are different from the Mocap algorithm. Use the Mocap combobox on RP1 to choose a motion algorithm; see Tracker controls and status. Use Camera Mode here to choose how the external camera connects. Example Camera mode menu with Headset Mode selected; no camera connection is implied. · Open image at original size. Mode Connection What the current app does Headset Mode 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi after USB setup Shows body marker points and applies camera yaw correction after Natural Standing is calibrated Desktop Mode USB cable direct to the PC Shows raw camera marker points. Desktop calibration is paused in this build Disabled No camera data Stops camera input For a full-body session with the supplied camera, use Headset Mode. Use Desktop Mode to view raw points over USB. It does not currently replace Headset Mode for yaw correction. Understand the camera status Cable Connected means camera data is reaching the app over USB. Use this for Desktop Mode or to send Wi-Fi details. Camera WiFi settings sent means Excap wrote your network details to the camera while it was on USB. Wi-Fi Online means the app is receiving camera data over the network. Camera Off means camera input is disabled in the app. The “sent” message is not the same as “online.” Check the status again after moving the camera to its Wi-Fi setup. What Camera View should look like After the camera is online, open RP1 → Camera View. In Headset Mode, the view shows marker groups such as Waist, L Lower Leg, and R Lower Leg. This is a point view for camera tracking, not a normal webcam preview. Headset Mode Camera View, cropped as one contiguous native-scale panel from the app screen; points are scripted, no live camera or calibration implied. · Open image at original size. Wi-Fi band needed by this kit The supplied camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. Check the network band before sending settings. The app currently lists 5 / 6 GHz networks and does not block an unsupported band, although the camera hardware cannot use those networks. Example camera settings form with blank credentials and a scripted Cable Connected status; no real hardware or network is shown. · Open image at original size. Issue found while exploring Current Camera settings can auto-fill the PC's active network, including a 5 / 6 GHz network. The field can still send it. A user sees “Camera WiFi settings sent” but may not know why the camera never reaches Wi-Fi Online. Excap should filter the list to 2.4 GHz or warn before sending an unsupported band. See the issue list. Headset Mode camera setup Headset Mode attaches the supplied camera to your headset and uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to send the view to Excap. It is the camera mode used by the first-success guide. 1. Connect the camera to your PC over USB Use the camera's USB data cable. Open Setting → General → Camera and wait for Cable Connected. Example camera settings form with blank credentials and a scripted Cable Connected status; no real hardware or network is shown. · Open image at original size. Ready when: the camera status says Cable Connected. This means the app can send the Wi-Fi setup; it does not mean the wireless setup has completed. 2. Select Headset Mode and send 2.4 GHz details Select Headset Mode in the Mode menu. Select the router's 2.4 GHz network. Check its displayed band before continuing. Enter its Wi-Fi password if needed. Click Configure WiFi. Ready when: Excap says Camera WiFi settings sent. Wait until the camera later shows Wi-Fi Online before assuming it joined the network. Example Camera mode menu with Headset Mode selected; no camera connection is implied. · Open image at original size. If the PC is connected to a 5 / 6 GHz-only network, do not use that network for this camera. Choose a 2.4 GHz network instead. The current app does not prevent an unsupported band from being sent. 3. Mount the camera and power it Disconnect the temporary PC setup cable. Fit the camera to the headset with the supplied mount. Route the camera cable along the mount, then connect the other end to the power source specified for your kit. The first picture shows where the cable plugs into the camera. The second picture shows the cable routed to the USB adapter attached to the headset. Do not use the temporary PC setup cable for this powered HMD connection. Ready when: the status changes to Wi-Fi Online. If it stays offline, check that the camera has power and was given the 2.4 GHz network details. Camera cable plugged into the headset mount; refer to kit power instructions. · Open image at original size. Current headset camera mounted on the headset with the camera cable plugged into the headset-connected USB adapter. · Open image at original size. 4. Check the body marker lights Open RP1 → Camera View. Aim the headset camera toward the front of your body. Move slightly so you can tell whether the points move. Ready when: Camera View shows marker groups labeled Waist or Hip, L Lower Leg, and R Lower Leg. This view displays detected light points and connecting lines; it is not a regular webcam picture. Headset Mode Camera View, cropped as one contiguous native-scale panel from the app screen; points are scripted, no live camera or calibration implied. · Open image at original size. Keep the Trackers on your body front with buttons facing up. When HMD Mode connects successfully, the Tracker assigned to Waist or Hip and both lower-leg Trackers turn green; the Chest, thigh and foot Tracker lights turn off. This is normal light selection for camera markers, not a Tracker disconnection. The eight-point layout uses either Waist or Hip, never both. Check the Device cards for the real connection state. Annotated HMD Mode example: one Waist or Hip torso Tracker and both lower-leg Trackers are green; Chest, thighs and feet are off. · Open image at original size. If the camera disconnects, the other Tracker lights return. Recheck Wi-Fi Online and the front-facing Waist/Hip and lower-leg placement before treating the light change as a fault. 5. Let camera correction start, or align it manually Once Natural Standing is calibrated and fresh marker points are visible, Headset Mode can begin camera yaw correction automatically. Align Camera is a separate manual adjustment. Use it when you intentionally want to record a camera reference: Make sure the headset is online and Natural Standing and Skiing Pose are complete. Keep a Waist/Hip or lower-leg marker visible. In RP1, select ALIGN CAMERA. Copy the C-Pose picture and hold still during the four-second count. Ready when: Excap reports Camera aligned. Manual alignment needs a connected camera and a fresh Waist/Hip or lower-leg Tracker. If it fails, first confirm the markers and pose calibrations. The normal camera workflow and manual reference step are different. Do not treat Wi-Fi Online as a camera-alignment result. Issues found while exploring The camera connects over USB, sends settings, then streams over Wi-Fi. The app shows these as separate states, but its Wi-Fi picker still allows unsupported 5 / 6 GHz selections. The supplied mount photograph shows the cable entering the camera, but not the cable's far end or a powered light/status. The power-source step needs a photo of the actual accessory included with the kit. Desktop Mode camera setup Desktop Mode was proposed after version 2.0.0 and is experimental. Use it at your own risk. It is not part of the normal first-use route, and its behavior may change or fail in a future build. Desktop Mode sends the camera image directly to the PC over USB. It does not need Wi-Fi. Quick test Connect the camera to the PC with USB. Open Setting → General → Camera and wait for Cable Connected. Choose Desktop Mode. Open RP1 → Camera View and aim the camera at the front-facing Tracker lights. Desktop Mode Camera View, cropped as one contiguous native-scale panel from the app screen; points are scripted, no live camera or calibration implied. · Open image at original size. The expected result is moving raw light points in Camera View. This is only a camera-view test. The current build does not run the Headset Mode yaw-correction path, and Desktop Cali / TIC is paused. Moving dots do not prove corrected full-body tracking. For the supported full-body camera workflow, use Headset Mode. If you try Desktop Mode, keep a recovery path available and do not use it as the first setup for a child or first-time user. Report a problem Excap has two different feedback paths: Use Help → Feedback for a suggestion or general comment. Use the Bug button on the lower-right of RP1 when a specific tracking problem happens. Method 1: send a diagnostic problem report 0. Check Diagnostic recording and saved/upload state Open Setting → General and find Diagnostic recording. Check whether recording is enabled and whether Saved diagnostic reports contains an earlier report waiting to upload. Diagnostic recording storage and a saved report in Waiting to upload state; fixture data, no real report uploaded. · Open image at original size. 1. Enable Diagnostic recording once Open Setting → General. Find Diagnostic recording. Read the terms and choose Agree and enable. Annotated Diagnostic recording terms: enable recording, review the terms, then choose Agree and enable; fixture state, no consent submitted. · Open image at original size. With your permission, Excap keeps up to the latest three minutes of Tracker, HMD and controller data, calibration data, body and Avatar settings, algorithm settings, camera status and usage events. It does not record camera images, desktop video, passwords or network addresses. The snapshot is kept locally after Excap closes. Sending a report uploads it for R&D troubleshooting; the terms shown by the app explain retention and access. If you choose Decline, tracking still works, but the RP1 Bug button stays hidden. 2. Click Bug when the problem happens Leave the problem visible if it is safe to do so. Open RP1 and click the Bug icon in the lower-right corner. RP1 screenshot with the lower-right Bug button annotated; the button appears after Diagnostic recording consent. · Open image at original size. The Bug icon is beside the Mocap selector. It appears only after Diagnostic recording is enabled. 3. Describe and send the problem Choose the closest tags, such as Tracking lost, Drift / rotation, Camera calibration, or Wrong position. Write what you were doing, the last step that worked and what changed just before the problem. Then click Send report. Report a problem dialog with tags, optional details and Send report; fixture data, no report submitted. · Open image at original size. After clicking Send report, return to Step 0 to confirm that the report was sent or is safely waiting to upload. Do not put Wi-Fi passwords, personal contact details, or other private information in the description. If the upload cannot start, retry it from Setting → General → Saved diagnostic reports. Method 2: send general feedback Open Help at the lower-left, then choose Feedback. Annotated Help menu with the Feedback row highlighted; fixture state. · Open image at original size. The Feedback window accepts a written message, optional contact information and up to four images. Use it for ideas, feature requests, documentation comments or anything that does not need motion diagnostics. Feedback window with message, optional contact and image attachment fields; fixture state, no feedback submitted. · Open image at original size. Write the message first; Submit Feedback becomes available after the text field is no longer empty. Adding an email or Discord name is optional. For a short report, use this pattern: > I was doing [step]. The last thing that worked was [check]. Then I saw [message/result]. It happened [once/every time] after [change, if any].
